Shell and Tube Type Heat Exchangers and Aftercoolers In liquid to liquid heat exchange the ideal solution is provided by Shell and Tube Type Heat Exchangers. We design and fabricate these for diesel engines and marine applications. They are characterised by precision bored shells and tube stacks machined to close tolerances. The materials of construction are selected to suit the application which may involve liquids with corrosive properties. Special, custom-designed units for direct mounting on engines are also available to provide a compact, integral cooling package.
